“I want to be a Real Estate Agent when I grow up,” 10-year-old Brandon McCorkindale once said. It is a true story. While many agents enter the field by chance or later in life, my trajectory was set early on. Perhaps the shifting urban backdrop of East Auckland played a role, or perhaps it was fate. Regardless, I knew I would one day sell homes, settling for Monopoly in the meantime. Today, I am living that dream and have never regretted it. My greatest passion is my daughter, Evie; she is everything to me. Because I prioritize family, I understand that my clients do as well. Handling a home sale means caring for a family, a responsibility and trust I deeply value. My role allows me to engage with the community, connecting with diverse people during significant life transitions. I have picked up everything from basic Mandarin and building codes to lawn maintenance. The architectural variety in this area is stunning, including creative uses for garages. I am even gathering inspiration for my future home—some ideas are straight from the 70s, sunken lounge included! Clients describe me as warm, energetic, positive, hardworking, and highly communicative—a blend that serves me well when selling real estate in East Auckland.
