We hired Ace Painter & Decorator to paint the exterior of our weatherboard/brick home in One Tree Hill in December 2014. Ace Painters & Decorators carried out work for me in November 2014 on my property in Remuera. Specifically, they prepared and painted a master bedroom and lounge area, including ceilings, and they also completed exterior painting on timber weatherboards. Ali and his team did a great job. We recently had Ali Hazrat of Ace painters and Decorators paint the exterior of our house in Remuera. Ali provided a competitive quotation for painting the full exterior sheathing weatherboard house, including windows and doors and colour change on sills. The house is a 1920s style bungalow built on a slope with two storeys at the back and limited tight access on both sides. This made painting of some areas difficult, however Ali and his employees were able to undertake this work through judicious use of trestles and planks - therefore saving us the additional cost of expensive scaffolding. The house has a number of awkward angles and window overhangs and had not been painted for sometime, requiring significant preparation which they undertook well to achieve a smooth finishing coat. At the work was undertaken through the xmas period when we were not in attendance, we required Ali to supervise the security of the dwelling as they required inside access to windows and toilet. He was provided with a key to the house and instructions to manage the alarm and he did this as required and to good effect. We are happy with the quality of the workmanship from preparation to end result and would recommend Ali's workmanship and trustworthiness. I recently contracted Ace painters and Decorators for a re-paint of the exterior of our dwelling. Their quotation was competitive and realistic with quality products used.
