Aramoana is a beautiful white sandy beach. It’s a fantastic little township with boardwalk and lovely walks along the sea. I love this beach because the swimming is great for all ages and the township has loads of classic Kiwiana homes.

    For a picture perfect beach experience, take a trip to Aramoana Beach by the harbor Mole. Take a dip in the ocean and make friends with the seals and albatrosses in the area. You’ll truly feel at one with nature here! If you don’t fancy getting we then take a stroll down the boardwalk and track nearby.

      Populated by a few locals, seals and the occasional penguin, Aramoana’s about as remote as it gets in Dunedin. Be sure to check it out at low tide when there’s a decent Northerly swell - they’ll be plenty of waves to be had.
