Bambina located in Newmarket is a casual, relaxed breakfast and lunch café with simple food, using the freshest ingredients.

Based on Bambina in Ponsonby, Pete and Sarah's new café in Teed Street is a welcome addition to the Newmarket café scene.

good cafe

    Corn fritters were great. Very busy and noisy. A wee wait for our meals. But nice food

            A timeless cafe with a modern Euro feel. Fresh and simple but ultimately clever, every bite is lovingly prepared and served. Cafe culture is alive and well and Bambina delivers the finesse that the coffee and bagel staple-diet demands.

              Nice looking and taste coffee

                I popped into Bambina on a dreary morning, needing to fill in a half an hour. Bliss! The cafe was busy, but surprisingly tranquil. Although I only had a coffee, fixed to my exacting and some may say embarassing specs (hardly any coffee and lots of froth). Diners around me were tucking into some seriously delicious looking breakfasts, and I'll definitely return with the family  and be a little more adventurous. Staff were lovely, and particularly obliging when I at first couldn't locate (find in diabolical bowels of handbag) my EFTPOS card. A lovely way to start the day, thanks Bambino.

                  Pro: Yummy Con: Opening hours, use of free-range/organic? Nice coffee, water easily accessible, muffin was very yummy, and service very friendly - when she saw that I was working on my computer, she immediately offered me to use their wifi, which is a big plus. Could be open longer!

                    There's a lot more with free wifi! It's getting more and more common.

                    You have to try it. Real chocolate melting in your cup. The best in Newmarket. Need to put eggs bene or similar on the menu.
