Established in 2013, Blunderbuss is a popular Italian eatery located in Takapuna. With a tasty menu offering a number of smaller plates perfect for sharing on their large communal tables, the real star of the show here are their delicious pizzas which come with an abundance of healthy toppings.
With two tasty homemade bases available, choose from Manuka honey and semolina or their gluten free chickpea and tapioca flour.

I love that they cater to all allergies and intolerances with a healthy, gluten-free option available. Unlike most 'gluten free' pizza bases, this one is made out of a chickpea and tapioca, which is high in protein instead of additives and processed crap! Get along and try some - you won't regret it.
I went to Blunderbuss about a week ago for a big catch up with my friends - talk about a #feelgood moment! The food is good as usual - if you're unsure of what to try absolutely go for the calamari its honestly just so good. The atmosphere is great and perfect for a low key get together and dinner. #feelgood
Pizza is probably my favourite kind of food, so when Blunderbuss opened up I had to go there! I've been there three times now, and it's a firm favourite. The menu is fairly small, but with some classics as well as some slightly more adventurous food. It's a great spot for a friday night - sangria, pizza and some of their amazing fries after work is just what I need! They can be pretty busy, but the food comes out quickly which means the turn over for tables is quite quick, so I've never had to wait very long.
