I love my local beach at Browns Bay.  great beach in the summer with heaps of playgrounds and a skate park. it also has a place to get changed before you swim. The best part about Browns bay is how close the beach is to about 4 beach front bars. Speakers corner and The Flax/Saint, so many great days spent here.

      A great place to grab the family pack a picnic and head out to is Browns Bay located on the North Shore. The playground is great and there is lots of space for having your picnic. There are basic clean toilets on hand as well. Although parking can be a bit of a nightmare especially at the height of the summer season. When you have finished there are a plenty of shops such as novelty shops and cafe's to tempt you and a supermarket and fruit shops within walking distance. 

        Browns Bay beach is great for having a picnic, there is lots of grass areas to play or sit on and plenty of benches too. Lots of delicious places to get food from nearby (including ice cream or gelato!) and overall a good place for hanging out in the sunshine

          What a wonderful beach to spend a lovely sunny evening at. With all the places to eat in the area this beach makes for a really nice spot to enjoy a bite to eat or a romantic fish and chips dinner. It is also a good spot to take the puppy for a walk/run on as well. It's a good length and there is a lot of room.

            One of the best places to be on a good sunny auckland day. The beach is just moments away from anything you might possibly need to enhance your experiance. Everything from ice cream to refreshing drinks or even dinner with your partner this is a good place to be.

              Fantastic to have the beach linked but separated from the town.  Love the Cafe's, Sushi Bars, reserve, friendly locals.  I live and work here - it's a hidden gem, so don't want to rave too much.  :)

                If you've got a slow morning, head on down to Browns Bay for some fun. Good selection of cafes and food places from Sushi to Kebabs. The beach is a great place to just lay out and soak in the sun for a bit and the water is nice for a swim. Great, great place and I come here pretty often.

                  This playground is the best for kids. A great view out to the beach and nice spots for a picnic or there are tables around too. This beach is beautiful and great for a walk our kids love the playground. It is quite challenging for littlies but it is great that adults can get up to help them explore. lots of open spaces. A great time for all.

                    Great place to hang out, with awesom views. I was proposed to on this beach so suppose I am biased! Kids park is fantastic and the best we have found anywhere. Parking never a problem and some great cafes nearby.
