    As our local beach we're down here a few times a week.  Lovely place to take the kids for a paddle, picnic on the grass, play on the playground, or visit the icecream shop or cafes.  Easy parking and access, and always well kept, very clean and tidy, almost litter free.  Only downsides we ever found is lots of dogs at this time of year that scare the kids at times and the toilet/shower block could be cleaner.

      Browns Bay beach is lovely, there is so much to do there especially if you have young children.  The beach is nice and shallow and very child friendly.   It also has a big playground and many cafes/restaurants to explore and lookout onto the beach.  I like going to Browns Bay and exploring the rocks or going for a swim as the current is not very strong which makes it pleasant for swimming in summer.  Sometimes the council also puts on family fun days where they supply equipment for kids for the afternoon or they get local bands to come play on the weekends in the park area.  Great stuff!!

        This is our favorite place to visit in the summer. There are plenty of cafes and bars as well as a fantastic playground suitable for children 2+. The actual beach is great for young children as there are little to no waves.

          Browns bay beach is a lovely beach with great surroundings. There are ample cafes and food places to have lunch or get takeaway to enjoy on the beach. the playground is fantastic, so much open space and things to challenge children of all ages, there is also a skate park right next to the playground. This park and beach is worth travelling to for a fun day out.
