If you like steak, you'll love Buster Crab. I love this place for their thick juicy slabs of local beef. And the best bit? You can have it to go with a side of chips. Nice!

A great winter restaurant for lunch and dinner, this place also an epic selection of local and international beers to whet your palate. The Pork & Duck Terrine will blow your mind and the service is pretty darn fine.

Buster Crabb features an uncomplicated menu that reflects their knowledge pairing classic flavours with fresh and local ingredients. The mains are in generous proportion and are able to be paired with a variety of diverse side dishes that will satisfy your hunger, a two favourites of mine are the manuka smoked roasted vegetables and the char grilled polenta.

Want to indulge a little this Winter? Buster Crabb boasts enormous meals with beautiful fresh produce. Settle in to the cosy restaurant and lose yourself in the unique and tasteful ambiance this little gem provides. A slowly braised lamb shank and a great glass of vino – what more could you ask for?

What a great steak restaurant! I headed here with my partner and we were both absolutely in love with our meals. Tom had the pork loin and I had the famous steak (nearly got the salmon but I was in carnivorous mood) - absolutely amazing. Next time we plan to get the farmhouse platter: Stewart Island smoked salmon, Evansdale cheeses, salami, garlic butter, fruit chutney, pickled vegetables, gherkins, popcorn squid, kalamata olives, Swiss beer stick and roasted capsicums. Amazing.
