Cable Bay Vineyards

They have just done up their winebar and tasting room, if you want to be impressed by a true luxurious experience and a million dollar view in the sun, this is the spot. Hey, fly in on a chopper if you want - it will land on the front lawn.

When you enter the grounds of Cable Bay - make doubly sure its summers day preferably  - you will be blessed with one of the most breath taking views you might see in the whole of Waiheke...maybe as bold as to say the whole of the north island.  It almost sucks you in like tractor beam on the starship enterprise disabling you from looking in any other direction until your sitting down in the gardens glaring at it with a nice bottle of wine in hand, and platter of nibbles.  Once you've finally managed to pry yourself from it then the restaurant awaits. With an assortment of home made wines and local wines you wont run out of drink, and the quality of the food also matches this. Best to visit for a dinner date, celebration, work get together, some casual summer lounging, with friends....ok maybe its just best to visit.

Waiheke is my favorite place and Cable bay is by far the most amazing restaurant! Went here for my work Christmas function. Amazing foof, incredible views and great service! for an upper class restaurant the food is very well priced! I recommend this place to everyone! Love it!!!

Had a Christmas lunch here and it was just the most beautiful location for a summer get together. We had the set menu which was fantastic. Nice to sit outside in the courtyard after lunch for a drink in the sun too!
