The newly opened Central School of Dance is located in Mount Albert and is committed to nurturing young talent in a variety of dance disciplines.
Offering classes in jazz, ballet and contemporary, director Monique Poirier has big plans for the school and aims to introduce other genres of dance over the next few years.
There are programmes for pre-school and older children, along with ballet classes for adults offering a chance to learn a new skill in an informal environment.
