This gelato is completely scrumptious. There’ll be no point in going to Italy after your tasted Charlie’s - you won’t find anything better! I love the banoffee gelato they have which is made from real banana. They also sell freshly picked strawberries and grapes if you want a healthy snack after a rich ice cream.

One of my children's favourite destinations. Charlie's has a fantastic range of Gelato which makes it very difficult to decide which to try each time we visit. They also have the most delicious strawberries over the Summer months. We've even had pizza there occasionally over Summer when they utilise their outdoor pizza oven. A nice setting with great food and drink - what more could you want. #mywalldesign

"Ice cream"  is definitely one of my favorite food groups, and Charlie's is the best gelato experience I have ever had. The staff are friendly, the store is clean and the dark chocolate gelato is so irresistible I drive from the city every summer to have one... or four.  Can't recommend it enough!

Charlies is the perfect place to stop off for a summer fix of ice cream when heading back from Tauwhranui, or nearby beaches. My personal favourite is the coconut gelato - just delicious. Make sure you build Charlie's into your next beach itinerary!

Went here with the family yesterday. Loved it. I have some dark chocolate gelato which was a first and definitely yum. We saw the new woodfire pizza and was tempted but didn't give it a try Also there was a bit of an art gallery which was worth a look.

Stopped here on our way back from Omaha over the long weekend. Even though the weather wasnt perfect the place was very busy and I now know why. The prices were good and there were so many flavours to choose from. I couldnt decide on just one so I got two :) Frienly staff and nice clean area. Great little patio area outside also for that hot summer day. Will definately go back again when we are back up at Omaha over the summer

The most gorgeous flavours of Gelato and Sorbetto I have ever seen! I love that they have the Sorbetto option that's Lactose free so that my brother can enjoy a frozen dessert aswell. The take home containers are great as well so you can relive the experience at home or enlighten others to this delight! The art gallery is a lovely touch too and the kiddies loved watching the fishes in the pond out the front. Great prices, decent sized scoops and great allowances for kids too with the small chairs and the kiddie cones :) The views of the vineyard are stunning and Charlies has the best strawberries I have ever tasted! The staff are wonderful, accommodating and super friendly. Definately something you should experience for yourself
