Chokdee is one of the few BYO restaurants in Nelson, and the best one to visit with your own bottle of wine. Corkage is $5 and there's a fantastic range of tasty thai food on offer. My fave is the Phad Nam Mun Hoy Stir-fried vegetables and crispy pork belly with oyster sauce, but there is plenty of choice. Always nice friendly staff, great presentation and they do a mean take away as well.
This is the best place to eat in Motueka - grab a Thai meal here before your trip to the Gecko. Chokdee has great service, excellent value for money and tasty Thai flavours. It’s not flash or expensive and a very good option for a casual night out with family or friends. They also do take aways which are very good value - order in advance and pick up after the movie!
