I love these gardens! Full of spectacular plans and rare species, there is always something new to look at here. Finish up with a coffee at the information centre for a perfect morning excursion.

    Walk or cruise in comfort on the Caterpillar Shuttle.

      One of my favourite things to do … the Christchurch Botanics Gardens is pure bliss. With the Avon River flowing through, the immense and expansive gardens, the ducks, the ice cream stall, this is my favourite place to be whether it’s Winter, Summer, Spring or Autumn.

        The new Information Centre opened recently and should be on everyone's must-visit list. The impressive architecture and little cafe will have you coming back every weekend to enjoy. The gardens are full of beautiful plants and flowers all year round and the Avon River flowing through tops things off just nicely.
