Dinner and a show? You can't go wrong! Daikoku is an old favourite of mine and I'm always super pleased I went. The chefs here are super clever, whipping out all kinds of tricks on the teppan-yaki table right in front of you. Daikoku is super social, if you don't have 8 people then expect to be sitting among other groups of diners. This can be a good thing, it makes for a fun, chilled out atmosphere! Theres plenty of Daikokus around the city but the Takapuna one is my favourite.

    I love everything about the Daikoku. All ca I love you birthdays are celebrated here.

      Great food - love the lunch time specials and the infamous yum yum sauce, as well as the entertaining service!

        The chefs really make this place fantastic- they are funny, good-natured and so enthusiastic! They really want you to have a good time. On top of that, the food is absolutely delicious. We come here every year for our anniversary and I look forward to it every time!

          I love the yum yum sauce on Prawns, the kids love the entertainment pretty pricey but well worth the coin ...

            The food at Daikoku tastes great and the whole experience really is a must try, with a personal chef that cooks the food in front of you and even does trick shots with the food into your mouth! For a fun time and above all else amazing asian cuisine get to Daikoku!

              The flare and showmanship imbued in a proud warrior culture. Traditions of Samurai transposed to culinary swordplay. Immerse yourself in the tastes, smells and sounds of the Orient as your personal Teppan-Yaki Chef caters to your wants and desires for lunch, dinner or dessert.

                The kids loved the show that came with our yummy meal! The onion steam train was a highlight. Fresh and delicious!!  Highly recommended!    

                  This place is a favorite in my household for birthday dinners and special occasions! The food is delicious and the service is amazing! The chefs put on a show and never fail to entertain the whole table :)  

                    Teppan-Yaki is one of my favourite ways to eat! You have to love the simplcity of it all and the flavour and taste here is second to none. Nice and conveniently place with parking around as well, really worth a visit if you are in the area, booking is always a good idea too!
