I love that this is a famous kiwi chef, the restaurant is posh yet homely, the waiters are the best- so enthusiastic and care for detail- they wipe your table clean between courses, and Peter Gordon came out to our table to visit us personally and ask how our meal was! How was it? Amazing! We didn't order and entree- but the waiter offered us freshly baked breads on arrival and Peter sent out an entree taster which was a flavour explosion on the spoon! I had a salmon risotto, perfect level of flavour and creaminess. All the desserts are to die for and the cocktails- yummy!

A very well put together 8 course tasting menu which I found to be good value for the quality of food. We went for the wine matching option which wasn’t disappointing :)

Dine is the whole package! Greeted on arrival by warm and professional staff, seared for cocktails and champagne and then led onto the dining area which has a fine dining feel but with a comfortable atmosphere. The food is to die for and just the perfect amount. You are left feeling very satisfied with every morsel on your plate consumed.

Dine by Peter Gordon is a chic, elegant and award-winning restaurant with a unique blend of Asian, Pacific and traditional European cuisine. Their degustation is available from 5:30pm – 9:00pm and is $240.00 per person with matching wines and $165.00 per person without. The seven-course meal is seasonally influenced and never fails to amaze.

Came here for a birthday dinner and was so spoilt. The food was amazing! And it filled us up so much that we couldn’t eat the little birthday surprise that had been arranged (happy birthday written on a plate with a few little sweet treats). Service is non intrusive and the dining room is cosy (the lighting really adds to the atmosphere). Can’t wait to go back, next time my stomach will be ready.

been to this place 4 years ago but was awed by the service and food. Excellent ambience. will definitely plan to go there again.

Great service.  Good fine dinning restaurant.  However the food was not as daring as The French Cafe and Meredith.  Would love to see a menu using more adventurous exotic ingredients.

Don't let the location inside a hotel put you off. Along with the French Cafe I rate this one of the best high end restaurants in Auckland. With Peter Gordon's signature fusion cuisine you can't go wrong for a special night out.
