Divino Pizzeria

We came across this Italian restaurant by chance and probably one of the best Italian meals I have had in Auckland. Wholesome and tasty pasta like you would expect to enjoy in a small Italian village. I had the Penne Di Costa absolutely covered with chicken, bacon and mushrooms and a superb blue cheese, garlic and tomato sauce. Superb. My partner enjoyed the Fettuccini Divino - with smoked chicken and mushrooms and covered with a lovely white wine and tomato cream sauce... our son and his partner both had the Spaghetti Carbonara and they both raved about their meals. The couple at the next table had the pizza's and were very complimentary about their meal. As said the place is rustic - definitely not fancy - but that is part of it's charm. It's BYO only and the prices are amazingly good. Well wort a visit (we are told Friday nights are pretty special and attend finding out for ourselves soon).

Our local pizzeria now, popped in to try their pizza's and am hooked. They are now our families treat night favourite :o)
