As a lifelong Rugby fan, I couldn't wait to get to Eden Park - for anything! - as soon as I arrived on these fine shores... Well, I spent the afternoon there for the England vs. NZ (Cricket) 'ODI' and I had an absolute blast! I am now the envy of all my friends back in the wintry UK... Whatever the occasion, Eden Park promises to the be a great day out for the whole family!
Come celebrate Eden Park's first 100 years! Came here with children with disabilities to learn how to play cricket in their indoor training facility. Great instructors- so inclusive, fun and helpful & encouraging. A lot of fun for them- good practice/ drills and mini games. Got a tour of the stadium- beautiful field & great seating options. Would really love to come here for a live rugby game, one day! Sure the RWC would have been amazing here
Not really a big rugby fan, but I went along to watch a Warriors game last month. Was an ok atmosphere, the ground was pretty decent, good facilities toilets didn't stink of wee etc.. The game was surprisingly good and I got into it the atmosphere picked up at one point. Overall good evening!!! I bet it was rocking during the world cup
