Highly recommend the shanks

Fat Dog have a huge menu, and often it's a bit overwhelming; their servings are huge and often a bit too much for me to finish at lunchtime! Lately I've been going for their soups... I also feel healthier too. Their vege soup is absolutely packed with goodness and is a guaranteed soul-warmer in the midst of this winter weather.

Haha, OK I think Fat Dog Cafe has been on a bout a billion of my lists! But hey, it’s just so good. Yup, they have wifi here, hence me adding it to this list. Awesome atmosphere, food… and FREE wifi! Yay.

The Fat Dog cafe is famous in Rotorua for it’s amazing atmosphere and it’s even more amazing food. The portions here are HUGE and their salads are no exception!

Hands-down Rotorua’s most wel–known and loved cafes… and for a reason. Fat Dog has a funky, chilled vibe and great food to match. Go for "The Fat Dog Works" …bacon, eggs, hash browns, sausage, tomato and chunky toast. Yum!

Well Fat Dog always takes the first spot when it comes to cafe dining in Rotorua. Their eggs benedict is creamy, the bread is crispy and flavourful and like any Fat Dog dish, the serving is very generous. Also, I love a good hashbrown, so I’m always delighted to get one with my eggs benedict here. You can choose it to be served with bacon, salmon or veggies.

Tasty museli with fresh fruit was a winner and the service was super fast!
