Fish Fins is a popular takeaway located in the Wellington suburb of Newtown. Speicialising in seafood, they sell fish and chips, mussels, scallops, oysters, squid rings, fish cakes and a selection of fresh fish fillets which can be chosen from their window display and cooked to your requirements.

They also sell a range of other fast food favourites including hot dogs, meat patties, potato fritters, spring rolls and more.

With a range of fresh fish to collect, Newtown’s fish fins offer up a great place to go and get the nights dinner from, right in the heart of Newtown’s shopping area, go and check it out if you live out that way, well worth a stop!

    Fish Fins in Newtown is another one of Wellington’s great fish stores, with a wide array of choice at a pretty good price. If you’re in this neck of the woods and are looking for a solid fish’n’chip spot my advice would be to go here. It’s right in the heart of Newtown, come through and try it out!

      Not as great as the typography on their sign, but few things are. Maybe I only like this place because a bunch of good stuff has happened to me while eating food from there but, really, isn’t that enough reason to like something?

        More takeways than eat-in, Fish Fins is the essential Newtown fish and chip shop. Those lemon pepper fish fillets and chunky fries are delicious. Add in some salad and you’re away. Eat your food in a park somewhere nearby, enjoy the outdoors.

          Look past the faded exterior, Fish Fins is an essential Newtown experience. You can't look past those wedge sized chips, and the lightly battered fish with lemon pepper seasoning; my gosh.

            I've seen happier fish but nothing beats fresh seafood. Fish Fins is the place to get delicious, fresh kai moana. Just don't stare too long into their eyes.
