I think this place offers the best value lunch option on the Stables - totally recommend the sausage, mash, gravy and coleslaw option. Pro tip: choose the boerewors!

Whoever had the idea to develop the Elliot Street Stables really oughta be congratulated. It's truly a unique place. One of the highlights of the Elliot Street Stables has to be Frankies Wurstbude. Basically it's a gourmet sausage place where you can order a wide variety of sausages to be served in a bread roll, in a wrap or with mash and vegetables. I'd go for the last option. Oh, and you also have a bunch of delicious sauces to accompany your feats.

A baguette, an old Essex banger, onions, gherkin relish, tomato sauce and grated cheese. Perfection.

A must visit when in the area is to the Elliot Street Stables.  Merguez is my favourite and I always grab a packet to take home

Elliot Stables is a beautiful environment in which to spend your lunch hour or an evening. Frankie's does gourmet sausages in a variety of flavours and styles. Choose you sausages flavour, if you would like to have it in a roll, as a wrap or with mash, then choose sauce. Voila! A tasty (and suprisingly filling meal) and it will only cost you about $10-$15. Yum.

Based at the Elliot stables this is an awesome speciality restaurant. One of the few places you can find (tasty) vegetarian sausages on the menu. They even have vegetarian chilli for the only vegetarian chilli dog i've been able to find in the city. Their prices are very reasonable, and if you like your home made mashed potatos and gravy best, all the sausages are available for you to buy and cook at home. Well worth a visit!
