The recently opened Freddy's Cafe is located in an upstairs premises on Mackay Street. Formerly housing Frank's Cafe, the art-deco style eatery is run by Ann Cogger and her partner Paul Silke.

Open daily for breakfast and lunch, you can choose from a great selection of menu meals and freshly prepared cabinet food served up by a team of friendly staff.

A popular spot for local business people, start the day with one of their hearty breakfasts, or warm up with a seafood chowder on a chilly afternoon while watching all the action on Greymouth's busy main street from the window.

Freddy’s is an amazing place for coffee, breakfast and lunch. The staff here are really friendly and service is always swift. I love it.

A local favourite, Freddy's Cafe is the place everyone likes to hangout at, and it's my favourite place for soup. The seafood chowder here is unbeatable - using fresh fish and only the best sauce.

A definite favourite with the locals, Freddys has an impressive, breakfast, lunch, and of course brunch menu. If you’re looking for something a little lighter to fill you up then you can’t go wrong with their epic muffin and coffee combo. A great little cafe with loads of style and attitude.
