For first time business owner Lee of Fuwa Cafe, building a successful cafe from the ground up has taken a lot of creativity, hard work - and good luck. Fuwa, literally "good-luck dolls", were the mascots of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and carry connotations of friendship and peace. Fuwa lives up to its warm name, offering delicious Asian and European foods and friendly service. Lee says there is one more reason their cafe is called Fuwa, “We have had our first baby last year, and another translation for fuwa is lucky child. We want our baby to be lucky.”

The awesome friendly team at Fuwa Cafe really know their stuff. The beauty of this place is that it's in the same place as my work premises, so I venture there every morning, just to get a piece of the heavenly goodness that is, their bacon and egg muffins. Bacon, egg and their very own hollandaise sauce, makes this melt-in-your-mouth delicacies, one to die for. Worth every cent ($5.50!) and better than you'd get elsewhere. I suspect these muffins might be just the ticket if you're a bit hung over! You must try, and of course, meet the awesome team there, that always memorise your order, with a smile!
