One of my favourite places to eat on any night of the week is Epsom dining icon Gee Gee’s. As well as great salad and seafood they have an amazing selection of what I like to call ‘comfort’ dishes on offer, with my pick being the hearty lasagne with a side of potatoes and a glass of Main Divide Pinot Noir. Gee Gee’s is also super close to the Lido cinema, making it a perfect spot for before or after a movie.
We dropped into Gee Gee’s for an office dinner and found the whole experience fantastic! There are good lounge seats just inside the entrance while you wait for the group to gather and tge bar staff were quick and friendly. The main dining area is enormoys with plenty of space to bring the whole team in. There’s not much vegetarian on the menu but they’re happy to make up anything they have the ingredients for, which is Awesome! I opted for a pizza as you can see, big enough to take 1/2 home for lunch! Staff were happy to leave us to chat after the meal rather than hinting it wad time to go, which was very nice for a change! Highly recommemded for a great dining experience.
Review: Gee gees can be dead quiet or buzzing and packed to the brim. The bar is a great place to start a night. we ordered pizza bread while we had a few pre dinner drinks. was a really nice setting. Busy enough to be buzzing and fun. Then we went through to the huge dining area and I ordered a steak which was fantastic. I'm rather fussy these days and like my steak very rare. well it was good. Tasty and well cooked. I like Gee Gee's and certainly will go back any chance I get. Good for a few drinks and bar food or the whole hog restaurant meal. Good service. Up market. All round excellent.
