What better way to spend a warm summer’s day than a walk to Godley Head? Providing panoramic views of the Banks Peninsula, you can also try out the purpose-built bicycle track. Be warned - some tracks have been closed during earthquake damage.

    Best place in Christchurch to get away from things while only being a 15 minute drive from the central city. Stunning views of the Canterbury coastline, a great walk, always plenty of friendly people on it. There is done great surfing at Taylor’s Mistake at one end and some WW2 history with the gun emplacements at the other end.
