In my opinion, this bar is best during the week these days. They have a lot of very talented cocktail bartenders. Rita has made me some beautiful drinks there. Lovely big covered outdoor seating area with tiki bar, a lot of great live music acts if you’re in the mood and it actually has a fantastic menu too. The bar snacks are amazing.
The Golden Dawn is one of my favourite places to catch up with friends for a casual meal and a drink. The food is delicious and are shared plates and there is a great selection of beer and cider on tap. Inside the atmosphere is warm and intimate for smaller groups and outside there are large tables for more substantial gatherings. The staff are friendly and there is always good music playing.
Golden Dawn is one of my favourite places to grab a drink. The outside seating has a great ambiance and is perfect for a sunny afternoon, and the inside is similarly charming and much nicer during the winter. They have a different blackboard punch daily, which is always my first stop on the menu. It’s almost always delicious, and if it’s not delicious, it’s at least interesting. Their cocktail menu has some pretty unique stuff, and the food is ridiculously good.
