A group of 6 visited Gustos on 12 May 2016 and partook of the menu for a lunch. All six meals were of an excellent size and were attractive and tasty. There was only one concern and that was expressed from one of the group who had a dozen battered oysters. They found that the oysters had been deep fried too long with the following two fold result. 1. The batter was harder and more dark brown as a result. 2. As a consequence of the extended frying time the oysters lost their flavour. The customer would like to order battered oysters again but would hope the above comments might be taken into account during their cooking. The aim is to give a light brown colouring to the battered thereby hopefully retaining the oysters moistness and flavour. Apart from that all meals were enjoyed and plates ended up clean. The only complaint was that this top restaurant does not cater for diabetics other than offering water and diet coke which is not always everyone's cup of tea. Almost all other restaurants we eat at have a diabetic lemonade . Please see if this deficiency can be remedied in the future. I would hate to supply my own BYO diabetic lemonade next visit. Apart from that we enjoyed our visit. WE stayed 2.5 hours.

Gusto is a restaurant that displays exactly what its name is, gusto! They enjoy what they do and it shows in their food and wine with finesse! Overlooking the breakwater bay, this restaurant has something special that I can’t quite put my finger on, but whatever it is, I always find myself enjoying my visit here, probably due to the awesome view outside, especially if it’s a sunny day!

This is a place I never knew had wifi until just recently, but I wish I found out sooner because this would be a beautiful place to chill out in! The endless amounts of cabinet food paired with a frothy latte and a wifi connection is a version of heaven that I would love to wrap myself up in. And if it’s a sunny day you can even sit outside!

Gusto is a personal favourite of mine that I’ve written about before. It has been decorated quite lavish inside but it has a sort of chilled out vibe to it. There’s just something about having lunch by the sea that relaxes you and puts you in a good mood. Pair those vibes with Gusto’s delish menu and you’ve got a winning restaurant. When you go in for your brunch on Sunday try the Balsamic Creamy Mushrooms with Bacon; or if you have more of a sweet tooth, go for the French toasted Croissant with wild berry compote!

If you want sea views while enjoying dinner with a nice glass of wine, Gusto is the place to be. It is very relaxing to be eating one of their scotch fillet wellington, or the pan roasted chicken breast and watch while the sun goes down. Gusto stresses a really nice atmosphere that’s welcoming and warm, with amazing breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and even acts as a wedding venue.
