The Haast is a stunning river. If you find the perfect place in amongst the native bush of the West Coast, you may never want to leave this fantastic swimming spot. I love coming here with friends and taking a picnic - bring a few boogie boards too!

A large with a load of fish, the Haast River is a deceptively difficult place to fish. Don’t let that put you off, however, because it’s still a fun day out. The Haast River flows into the Tasman Sea, making it a wild and challenging place to fish. Good luck!
