    A garage of beerful delights, we were offered a free sample of beer brewed with wild hops that had been left to ferment in a large open tray. It tasted interesting. From the outside this shop looks unassuming and you wouldn’t know it existed unless someone has tipped you off. Take some large empty vessels with you to fill up as they aren’t licensed to sell as a bar.

      Good price. Great beer and cider. First time here and def going back for more

            The dudes in front of me sampled every beer there before settling on what they'd buy. No dramas, no suspicion, just a willingness to make sure they bought what they wanted. I tasted three, again without question and then got another delicious, previously (to me) unheard of beer that I'll be buying again. Magic place.

              Auckland has needed this for ages. Bring your own growler, or buy one on site. A great selection of unusual craft beers from all across NZ  and also abroad. They have a party keg hire service too. Fill your own on a Friday for perfect after work drinks that don't suck.

                This place is amazing. Found it on gather and hunt a few weeks back and was delighted...it's local! No more mountains of bottles going into recycling, needing to be dragged to the curb...

                    Imagine walking out of Galbraith's and thinking... "I'd love a flagon of a delicious craft beer I've never tried before to take home and enjoy on my deck." Well, pop across the road and amble down the lane just past the Powerstation and you'll find this new flagon refilling depot called Hopscotch. It's just opened and has 12 taps offering a range of New Zealand and International craft beers like Mike's, Epic, Hallertau, West Coast, Crouchers and many more... Hugh is friendly, knowledgable and happy to let you sample before you buy. For now he is cash only, but no doubt he'll sort that out shortly.
