Who doesn’t love a good movie night over the winter school holidays? Hoyts in Te Awa is a great picture theatre for taking a troop of kids to watch Minions. I love curling up in one of the roomy cinema seats with a bag of salted caramel popcorn, and some lollies., and I know kids absolutely love it too. Te Rapa’s Hoyts is totally kid-friendly too and show some great kids movies over the holiday season.

      Very clean and shiny - great place to grab some popcorn and see a flick. Handy that's it's part of Base, makes it easy to grab dinner before or after. Comfy chairs too and the kids will love it!

        Cool cinema at the Base

          This place is monster. Located in Hamilton's new state of the art multiplex and home of NZ's largest screen (26 metres wide). Luxury seating and in-theatre dining. They also offer D-Box, where the seats move in sync with the action. Next level viewing.
