TRACEY wrote: I worked for HRV early this year for just over 3 months. I couldnt bring myself to call old people in their homes and book appointments for a hardsell appointment lying to them that is was for a "healthy home assesment" I found their sales technique to be very agressive. As a telemarketer or appointment setter as they like to call themselves I found I was going home at night feeling bad about what I was doing that it was wrong.I also heard other members of the sales team telling people they didnt care about their children because they wouldnt book appoinments, I was also told when I said a man had dementia that they would book an appointment with him, Shame on you HRV, what goes round comes round and you deserve to be exposed for the thugs you really are. Bullies and theives. HRVs turn over of staff is high, if people cant lie they dont last in the call centre. I saw people in tears because of the culture at HRV, the company works on bullying from the top to the bottom and to the customers. Thank god I left HRV before I lost all my self respect.

We bought a house which has an HRV and had a few questions on how it worked. The people we dealt with have been so helpful, friendly, polite and patient. They went through how it all worked over the phone and came around to make sure the system was working properly without any call out fee. Amazing customer service and our house is dry and warm.

You can buy the components at any hardware joint and bang one up for $150 - $400. HRV will charge you $4000. They're are a scam, and their sales tactics verge on fraud. They got pinged on Campbell Live for ripping off an old lady.
