Amazing fish and chips & fish bugger. Well done guys

    It's lovely to come here for fish 'n' chips after a long day at Cornwallis Beach up the road. The sweet treats are amazing too. I love the casual atmosphere - absolutely no worries about coming in barefoot, sandy and slightly damp!

      This place has amazing food and service. I ordered a big breakfast style meal and it was very well made with great ingredients and a larger group of us was effortlessly caterd for ( wqith a little warning). The coffee was good. With its beautiful location, convenient to some of the most scenic places in West Auckland, it's the best excuse for a Sunday drive you can find.

        Wow this is a real beauty, a gem worth going the extra mile for. Atmosphere galore, location plus with a wide range of yummy delights in show case and blackboard menu. Right over the road from the beach. Great summer find.

          Known as doing some of the best sweet treats in the West, Huia Beach Store & Cafe is a gorgeous little hidden gem and its food has as much personality as its staff. A really cool idea for a Sunday date is to head down the winding roads and into Huia, stopping at this store to pick up baked goods and hearty sandwiches, before embarking on a walk up Mt Donald McLean. If you haven't yet had the chance to do this trail, it is little work for great reward. In just half an hour you'll reach the summit and be rewarded with incredible panoramic views of Auckland City, the southern Waitakere Ranges and the Manukau Harbour. Fresh air and the smells, sights and sounds of New Zealand's native flora and fauna plus excellent local food is a great recipe for the ultimate date day out. Now that's amore!

            Perfect pit stop after walking the dogs, outdoor or indoor seating

              This place is an absolute treat!! They have an impecable selection of the best lollies money can buy, and all of the other necessities that one might find themselves needing when they're a long way away from a supermarket!  The food is great too - I went here just last week and had the roast vegetable salad and calzone - both were delicious! Next time you're making a trip out to Huia definitely add stopping off at this place to your list of things to do!! 

                I had my 40th birthday party there just after it opened. Beautiful food, friendly people and outstandig service. Have to visit again during day time hours.

                  After a long tramp along the omanawanui track we were starving!  Luckily we spied Huia Cafe on the drive back home so we popped in for a bite to eat.  Friendly service and a pretty good selection on offer considering the remoteness of the place. Would definitely recommend a burger or fish and chip stop after conquering the trail.

                    Called in for a drink was a bit expencive but you are out in the wop wops but coffee worth it
