The Huka Falls Spa Park Walk is an easy walking track beginning at the Spa Thermal Park on County Avenue and ending at the spectacular Huka Falls.
The 2 hour return track is popular with local and tourists and takes you along the riverbank with stunning views of the Waikato River, open valleys and rainforest to enjoy en route.
Highlights include the the Taupo Bungy site where you can stop off and watch brave tourists plunge down the river gorge, or join bathers in the natural hot stream below the bridge crossing,
The walkway can also be linked with the Aratiatia Rapids Walk.

I'm a camera geek and when I'm on a nature walk, it's always around my neck. The Spa Park to Huka Falls walk is a great stomping ground for amateur photographers, and of course, as nature has it, completely free. I love tramping through the fresh air, native bush, and snapping away at the cliff views , mid-channel islands, and getting a good glimpse of the super exclusive Huka Lodge.
