On a recent new years trip to Queenstown I was on first name terms with the staff at this awesome local cafe. Every morning after a big night soaking in the holiday atmosphere, I'd pop down with a ragtag group of mates and cure my what ailed me with a strong coffee and a large serving of eggs bene - cooked just right. Great service, simple food, done right and an awesome theme make Joe's my favourite breakfast spot in Queenstown. If you get the chance you have to go. (Random trivia: I heard it's owned by Jim the old weatherman, I love that guy! can anyone confirm?)

If you find yourself in Queenstown this summer then take a trip to Joe’s Garage. They’re famous up and down the country for cool decor, chirpy staff, excellent coffee and, of course, amazing brunches.

The original Joe's! This place is awesome, with cool decor and really good service. Good standard brunch menu, with decent servings, good coffee and good service. Definitely recommend #cafetab

An Otago stalwart, Joe's Garage is one of Queenstown's most well-known cafes and a destination for locals and visitors alike. But what's best about Joe's Garage remains a bit of a secret - they do one of the choicest chicken burgers in New Zealand. I'm not usually a big fan of a bird burger but there's just something about this cafe's mix of chicken, bacon, swiss cheese and caramelised onions that's simply delicious. I always want this burger in my belly!

A local favourite, Joe's Garage is an epic cafe chain. Their breakfasts are famous up and down the country, and this Queenstown cafe is certainly packed every opening hour with tourists loving the excellent coffee.
