    This place is an entertainment centre just out of Whakatane for families and those that want to fill up with summer berries and they are particularly tasty crushed in the ice cream and frozen yoghurts. Mmm maybe splash out on a huge sundae. You can pick your own, eat at the café or visit the little farmyard although the ice cream is the reason why I stop here.

      BEST place in Whakatane for fresh berries, great food and coffee and a fantastic play area (and animals!) for the kids entertainment. #myfoodbag #cafetab

        Berries and spring go hand-in-hand, and Julian’s Berry Farm is like the Disneyland of berries. The cafe is set on a beautiful orchard along with a small hobby farm with a playground for the kids and a wonderful cafe with awesome coffee for the adults. A great place to spend a beautiful spring day.

            There are many reasons to love Julians... Pick your own berries, make yoghurt and ice cream, pat the farm animals and have a bite to eat at the cafe.

              One stop shop to pick every berry variety you could think of including berries you probably won't find elsewhere like loganberries and olallieberries. Famous for their real berry ice creams so once you're finished picking enjoy one of those in the cafe overlooking the farm.

                My girlfriend is a huge fan of Berry Farms, then again so is every other female. Just off State Highway 30 and a short drive from the Beach. Guaranteed brownie points.
