This is the BEST beach in all of the Nelson and Marlborough area. It gets very busy over the Christmas season but, because there are two camping grounds, you can usually find an awesome spot. Nelson locals have the beach front campground locked down and the same families go every season. But take a left down Martin Farm Rd when you first arrive into the bay and head to lesser-known, hidden gem Bethany Park. Located at the end of the estuary, the park-like surrounds are a beautiful place to pitch the tent and then you can walk to the beach.

    A great beach for the family. The sand is the perfect shade of yellow and unlike most beaches on this, the water is warm in the summer!
