I love this place for authentic Japanese food. Their small plates are perfect... because you want to try everything! #shoutme

Great range of sake to help loosen the purse strings. Splash out on their sashimi and try as many yakitori sticks as you can. I also recommend their sashimi and avocado salad, the dressing is sensational.

Tucked away upstairs on Courtenay Place, this is an ideal spot for a date or a group dinner. Try their five-sticks combos or nigiri.

Hidden behind an almost camouflaged door is one of Wellington’s very few Yakitori bars. Delicious japanese styled BBQ skewers make this an excellent snack or great tapas style dining experence with friends.

Just as good as well known places in Woodward St, Central CBD. Love It!

One lamentable aspect of Wellington is its lack of Japanese restaurants (not counting sushi bars). However, you can get your yakitori fix at Kazu. Like many yakitori bars, the place is compact, intimate and warm. Like many yakitori bars, it is also often noisy and bubbling. Sit down for a skewer and a sake and feel better about yourself.

Big beer, great food

I feel like I’m back in the motherland! The staff, atmosphere, and especially the food is amazing! I can’t wait to come back here again!! YOU must check it out!

Love the sushi here, awesome service and atmosphere.
