Located on the outskirts of town, Ken's Kitchen is a small restaurant offering a range of Asian fusion dishes.
Don't be fooled by the unassuming entrance and simple decor, the service is excellent and the food is fresh and full of flavour.
Ken the chef is also the owner and is always on hand to chat to customers at the end of the evening. Ideal for couples and small groups, dishes are designed to appeal to the western palate.
Try the 'Salt and Pepper Prawns','Coconut Chilli Fish' or the delicious 'Singapore Steak'.

We were here last weekend for my husband's birthday, for the first time ever he tried something different. This time he ordered the coconut fish dish and he loved it! It comes to the table on a sizzling plate so it's nice and hot, the sauce is creamy and has background flavors of chili and of course coconut! I think he has a new favorite! We also shared the salt and pepper squid which was delicious!

    If you didn't know it was there you would miss it. This little restaurant with one chef really is a hidden gem in Palmerston North! The authentic Asian menu which offers dishes from Singapore to Vietnam has something to please everyone. The meals are always beautifully presented with carrots carved into the shape of pineapples and beautiful fruit garnishes. My favorite has to be the salt and pepper prawns!
