Hi, I'm Kim.

I am a New Zealand trained Pilates Instructor based on the North Shore. I am also a NZQA qualified massage therapist and Gym instructor.

Since 2008 I have been teaching Pilates with the aim of creating dynamic mat classes for women of all ages and fitness levels. The classes that I offer start from beginners right through to advanced exercises. Private sessions are also available for beginners, if need be. My class sizes are limited to 4 people and they run both mornings and evenings to give people flexible options.

What I love most about Kim is not only does she cater for different abilities she perceives and tailors to individual needs and moods in each class.Working with Kim has made a huge difference to the issues I have had with my back problems and now I couldn't do without pilates and Kim !

I highly recommend Kim's classes. She is fun, the classes are interesting and varied and she always manages to cater to everyone's abilities but still make it challenging. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

I always leave Kim's pilates classes feeling relaxed and great, Kim injects fun into the class and is professional, caring and safe. I really love the encouraging atmosphere that is created and the progression we are making in each class is just right.

Kim is a very experienced Pilates instructor running small classes from her home. The classes are well structured, varied and catered to meet the needs of the class. Kim is always aware of her clients injuries so she can offer alternative exercises or stretches and technique is very important to Kim. I highly recommend Kim Kendall Pilates.

The classes are amazingly wonderful! Kim is very caring and makes exercise fun!  

With her Knowledge and small class sizes, Kim is able to monitor each person closely and carefully, ensuring exercises are done correctly therefore maximising effect and minimising stress or injury.  I hunted high and low for a pilates instructor that suited my needs and now I go twice a week and if I miss a session I sure feel it!

Kim is an awesome instructor who genuinely cares about the wellbeing of her clients.  She teaches programs to develop and challenge individuals and can always adjust exercises to suit the class needs.  She focuses on making sure you have the correct technique in order to get the most out of the exercises without injuring yourself.  She has a holistic approach to her clients, often sharing nutrition and overall health tips. Highly recommended.

With Kim's incredible knowledge of the muscular system, she adjusts the exercises to our individual injuries so we can still achieve results but not hurt ourselves. Thanks Kim!
