What not to love! We went for a bit of R & R, just for one night but wished we could have stayed longer! We had a massage and used the spa, indoor pool and sauna. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries. The staff were lovely, the rooms too. We had a fab view of the beach from our room and I loved the breakfast. We will definitely be back again.

Fancy a weekend away relaxing before its warm enough to sit on the beach? Kimi Ora is a good choice - close to Kaiteriteri’s beach for a walk if the sun comes out, but there’s also the weatherproof option of a spa and massage if it doesn’t.

So relaxing

The best place to stay in Kaiteriteri - Kimi Ora Eco Resortis a spa, lodge and restaurant tucked away in the hills above kaiteriteri beach. It's handy for the Great Taste Trail and for the Able Tasman National Park. The rooms are comfortable, there's a pool. sauna and spa and they run great wellness packages during the winter.

After all that eating and shopping, my perfect Mother’s Day would end with a visit to Kimi Ora Spa Resort out at Kaiteriteri. I’d like to drive out here with my family, walk on the beach (might be a bit cold for swimming) and maybe bike part of the Great Taste Trail or catch a water taxi out to the Abel Tasman National Park. Then stay the night at the resort and enjoy its spa facilities and restaurant - it’s a wonderfully relaxing place.
