For what is arguably the best sushi in the Waikato, make your way to Kisso Sushi Cafe. The husband and wife team who run this place are friendly, efficient and know their sushi.

Make sure to try the teriyaki salmon which is absolutely delicious and full of enormous pieces of salmon. This place is popular with locals so it may pay to get in early at lunch.

Japanese is known for being the healthiest option when it comes to asian food. This place is the best sushi in the Waikato hands down. I’d recommend the fresh salmon sushi, I couldn’t get over how big the pieces of salmon were. I’ve been here a couple of times and the salmon is always perfect.
