Kuta Bali is one of my favourite options when at the Ponsonby Foodcourt. I’ve been making my way through the sumptious Balinese dishes and I’m yet to be disappointed. Pictured is the Soto medan, which was on point! The crumbed prawns are out of this world, and are a great starter (available on request). The staff are super friendly and the prices really reasonable. Defenitely worth a try!

Definitely one of the best for Nasi Gorengs, fast friendly service n still reasonably priced $10 compared to some of the other stalls at $14+ a main - Ponsonby food court is a good option for dinners!

I've been to Kuta Bali many times now and slowly working my way through their many Balinese dishes. My favourite would have to be number 10, mild - medium. Really reasonably priced, perhaps even the cheapest among the stalls in the Ponsonby food court. Super friendly staff as well.

Previously located at Food Alley on Albert Street, this Indonesian food stall dishes out delicious Indonesian food. Excellent stir-fry dishes, authentic tasting randang and noodle-soup bowls full of aroma. And seeing as I haven't had Indonesian food in a long time, decided that it would be my lunch for today. I ordered the Soto Medan - a curry noodle soup dish, with chicken, king prawns, tofu and a hard boiled egg in a coconut curry soup base. When I went to collect it (after the little buzzer/pager thing went off), first thing I noticed is the presentation - fit for any proper restaurant (take in mind we're at a food court here). Lovely aroma, and it taste delicious. The soup base has layers of flavour - curry aroma, then the smooth coconut milk finish, and leaves a slightly spicy note on your palate afterwards. Generous amounts of king prawns and chicken pieces, and bits of fried garlic slices for texture. Will definately have to come back many, many times over to try all the dishes on their menu.
