Encore is an absolute treasure trove of second hand clothes. There are always lots of great designer finds without the huge designer price tags, the clothes they sell can be anything from Chanel to Kiwi favourites Karen Walker and Moochi. The sales staff are lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend! #NZFW

If you have the time, go and check out Tatty’s. Here you’ll find plenty of great quality second-hand items. The ever-changing stock means that every visit will be new and different. The staff are generally pretty helpful and eager to help out. Great designer items for a fraction of the price.

Fuzzy Vibes nestled amongst Karangahape road. Fuzzy Vibes is your go to shop for top quality vintage clothes and home ware. They have a solid range of 1960s and 1970s gear. You won’t generally get much help from the staff there, so if you’re an independent shopper that will suit you just fine. Worth #NZFW

Shaky Isles in Britomart have only recently added gourmet pies to their menu and they are absolutely delicious. My favourite would have to be the beef cheek pie, closely followed by the Chicken and mushroom.

I have only just discovered the Albert Park cafe, the food is extremely tasty. Even though they have a large selection of food, I struggle to go past the pies. My favourite would have to be the Mince and Mozzarella pie and also their Vegetarian pie is an absolute winner.

If you’re in the Kingsland area, I highly recommend Fridge’s Pies. I especially recommend their Steak and Mozerella pie.

I have raved about food room’s pies before. They’re divine, I would suggest that you try the Huffer pie. It has a bit of a quick too!

Scratch Bakers has a wide range of tasty pies on offer. I have only tried their Confit Duck, potato and wild mushroom pie, which was amazing but I am definitely keen to try one of their other interesting pies.

Queen of quirky. Get in now and stock up for Summer, a little bit pricey, but you can’t go wrong with a classic Karen Walker outfit. They have a fabulous selection of sunglasses also.
