La Bocca

Went there last night for my friend's birthday for the first time. I was very impressed! I had the lamb shank and it was just heavenly. You know how in all Italian restaurants you get the tomato sauce and after a few you start to think they all taste the same? But this tomato sauce was something else. You can tell it was patiently cooked from a traditional recipe and all the flavours of veges (not just tomatoes) are coming through. The meat melts in your mouth..it's an experience. I shouldn't forget to mention their service. They treat you like you would a guest to your house :)

Take your taste buds on a tour of the Mediterranean without leaving the heart of Parnell. Food to die for, wine to cater to every taste and budget, service like you only see in the movies... make this place your local and Nenad, the host, will personally choose a dish that will have you telling all your friends. Most enjoyable and authentic Italian this side of Maranello.

I used to work here so know it well. Their bruschetta is very tasty indeed. Lovely romantic atmosphere.
