We went to La Zeppa for a friend's birthday. All the Tapas items we ordered were good, I particularly liked the Feta and Mozzarella balls. There was a musician signing and playing guitar but it was never too noisy as sometimes it can be in these places. The decor was nice and the seats were comfy, the atmosphere was relaxed, ideal for a Sunday afternoon!
La Zeppa is an awesome place to visit when catching up with friends on a sunny afternoon. They have a great tapas list and make the yummiest cocktails. I'm not sure what it is like during winter but from what I remember they have lots of indoor seating. From the bar food I would recommend trying the mushroom and truffle arancini balls that comes with the most delicsious walnut ailoli and from the cocktail list I would suggest trying the Blood Orange martini.
Been to La Zeppa a number of times for dinner and/or drinks. The cocktails aren't bad, in fact much better than the food there. In my opinion the tapas are not worth their price. Other than that, the atmosphere and decor are quite nice and usually quite packed on weekends. The place has just been refurbished and looks great. The outside area has become bigger and looks awesome.
We had such a brilliant night at La Zeppa with friends on the weekend. The wait staff were bubbly and very knowledgable about the menu. We had a great table right near the central fireplace (which wasn't going). Fabulous comfortable padded leather chairs made it easy to sit for hours grazing on tasty food and wines! We ordered 12 dishes between 6 of us, and weren't at all disappointed. A good selections for vegetarians which always impresses. Risotto balls with mushroom and blue cheese aioli were a big hit with everyone, as were the meatballs. The star of the show would have to be dessert (of course!) - the mini banoffee pies were finger licking good!! Next time we're keen to try the churros with chocolate sauce! No hassle splitting the bill up at the end of the night, which can sometimes be a nightmare in places, but not here. Overall a really great night thanks. Will definitely be back!
