Just got my hair permanently straightened, absolutely love the results, my hair looks and feels amazing, Great atmosphere and super friendly staff and very well priced.

Not only a great hair cut for a very reasonable price but you feel really well looked after from the moment you walk in the door. I will definitely be back.

These Japanese hairdressers are amazing. They offer a nice head massage, excellent hair cut and blow-dry styling for only $63. I have been to some hair salons in the area and they usually charge at least $100 for the same service and they don't usually layer my hair as well as these guys. My hair is very straight so if the layers are not done properly, it sticks out of my hair easily, but they always do a fantastic job. They can make my dark hair into nice light tones without bleaching it so my hair is always smooth and soft. Their organic hair products are really nice too. Highly recommended.

I was going for a drastic change and was nervous but decided to give these guys a go, they were awesome! Spent time to ensure I had the cut i wanted and didnt try to force me to get a cut they wanted to do. Even after I went away and decided I wanted slightly shorter, they were all too happy to have me back and go shorter for free. Great service, slick salon and friendly staff.

These guys are fantastic - friendly, really careful to find out exactly what you want. There's a chance of a slight language barrier, but plenty of other staff members who speak fluent english so it's no problem really. And at $58 for a cut, it's the best deal I've had in Auckland. Plus it's very central, and they're open late. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

When I worked in Newmarket I used to come here for all my hairdressing needs. I love the staff at LAN they are mostly Japanese with rather limited English which always made for an interesting experience.   There was always one person who could speak well and understand my rantings ( or pointing at a picture in a magazine).  The thing is I have really long thick hair with a mind of its own.  Apparently Japanese do as well because they were experts in dealing to my unruly locks.  The treatments were fabulous and the hair cuts sublime.   Full marks for making me feel gorgeous and all for a very reasonable cost.
