Hidden away on the site of a former laundrette on Leeds Street, Leeds Street Bakery is the latest venture from brothers brothers Jesse Simpson and Shepherd Elliot who also run the successful Ti Kouka Cafe on Willis St. Working in conjunction with the Red Rabbit Coffee Co who run a coffee roastery within the same site, they serve a delicious range of fresh breads, sandwiches and sweet treats made with local, organic and seasonal produce where possible.

Customers can purchase sourdough, baguettes, ryebread and brioche, along with scones, brownies, mini carrot cakes, lemon sour cakes and their famous salted caramel cookies.

Tucked away down an alley way, right next to Red Rabbit roastery, who I have previously expressed my love for, the two co-exist in a beautiful symbiosis. Leeds street bakery produce a delish array of rustic style sourdough loaves, and some amazing (an understatement) salted caramel cookies, as well as sandwiches and nibbles served on fresh bread.
