It’s a good thing they offer loyalty cards because this place is seriously addictive. On top of the usual and not-so-usual ice cream flavours, like pineapple lump and jaffa, their milkshakes and “real” hot chocolates are amazing (peanut butter and oreo, anyone?). While you’re waiting for the careful construction of your order, the array of American candies that line the walls are very hard to resist browsing.

Lick is an awesome little ice cream shop, perfect for that special treat after school or in the holidays. Friendly staff and really yummy ice cream.

It’s about time we got something like this around. I like that they regularly change ice cream flavors and have a selection of american candy.

Give this ice cream shop a A+ in hyiene and cleanliness. But the ice cream itself isn’t that great

This is by far one of the cleanest ice cream shops i know of, i have very high standards when it comes to hygiene and i must say Lick goes above and beyond them. I’ve been here many times they have unique flavours and make nice big sundaes, i do think the milkshakes are a bit watery, if that makes any sense! Its awesome how they sell american products, i’ve tried most of them! Well worth a visit..

Lick is like a breath of fresh air here in Blockhouse Bay.  The bright buzzy shop is filled with heavenly ice cream & sorbet flavours which are undeniably fantastic.   They have flavours like so many amazing unique flavours and vasriety.  They do sundae's, hot chocolates, ice creams, sorbets and even have sweets from U.S.A. (My partner, being American, loves being able to get sweets from home right here in BHB). My favourite is the white chocolate & Raspberry ice cream but since I tried the sorbets I have to say I'm sold.  The best in my opinion is the mango, followed by berry berry and then the lemon.  Healthy, not too fattening but to die for flavours!! Friendly staff in a lovely colourful shop.  My fav local!!
