Little & Friday is one of my top spots to head for lunch. When I stopped by today the trendy joint was packed, yo-pros purchasing workday treats. Pictured is an assortment of savouries we got to take away for lunch, all were eaten with a side of rocket sauce. The coffee was strong and flavour filled, so if you’re in the market get amongst.

    There is some seriously secret secret to this recipe or technique that I doubt will be shared. You just will not find a doughnut as good as this in Auckland.

          I dropped into Little and Friday on the way home yesterday to pick up some doughnuts for dessert (which if you haven’t tried are the business - the right mix of jam, cream and crispy exterior). There was none left so I opted for the berry and chocolate meringues. These were equally as impressive when served with berries and whipped cream. Little and Friday once again proved they can do no wrong, the crispy exterior and flavour filled gooey centre was a match made in dessert heaven.

            I love Little and Friday. It is everything a coffee shop should be - Bon Iver on the speakers, cute little toys to mark your order, and home baked goodies to die for. If you haven’t already, get there now!

              I work right across the road from Little and Friday and I'll give any excuse to pop over for their many scrumptious treats. 

                I lined up today for my lunch and waited at least 5 mins to be served . I

                  Would have waited an hour for this tasty beetroot, goats cheese and walnut tart. Amazing! And the wait was only that long as there was a line out the door. The staff were fast and efficient

                    My very favorite place for a treat when I'm sad, a pickmeup when I'm tired, or to take friends to show off that I know the best places. I am never let down by Little and Friday. Great service, great products, even the water is delicious!! Check it out this summer when you're out and about in Newmarket. The recipe book also makes a great gift.
