The food at Louis Sergeant's is absolutely superb ! The gateaus are the most beautifully crafted French treats (with equally elegant packaging) that you can find in Wellington and make for an excellent birthday gift. I highly recommend the high tea experience here. The prices are justifiably higher than other offerers of French cuisine in the CBD due to the quality that Louis Sergeant's offers.

Ever felt fully sated just by a boutique cafes décor and ambience..before you've even sampled from the menu? No? Then glide in to Louis Sergeant's and be romanced by their exquisite surroundings and love filled menu. Decadence! #mywalldesign

Love everything, the hard part is choosing what to have.

How could you not love somewhere so wonderful? The moment you step in the door you are in another world, a world of decisions. The deciding what to have is the hard part as it is all so great. #cafetab

Louis Sergeant Sweet Couture. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. 1. The hot chocolate which is made from pure dark chocolate (70%) and fresh organic cream is like having the best parts of a molten chocolate soufflé 2. Everything is like a work of art... too good to eat. But we jest. It's too good not to eat. And definitely worth the calories. 3. The French maître d really adds a touch of class !

This place is a sugar lover's dream. I was taken here with a few girlfriends and we had such an amazing time and ate the most delicious treats! Thank you for having us!

It's true what they say about this place - I left with my mind blown and my socks well and truly knocked off. Don't hesitate for a second to visit, the treats really are works of fine art that you wish would never end. If you want to splash out a little (it's not that expensive), go for one of the high-teas with champagne. Oh my goodness gracious me!
