Great mexican food.

    Me and my boyfriend have been here a few times now and it's always so good ! Great value for money compared to some other mexican places in Welly as well as really fast and not to mention tasty. This has become my favourite place for weekend lunch. #shoutme

      Best value on Monday: burrito and drink

        I can tell you something as a Mexican that I am: Mad Mex serves the most authentic  Carnitas Tacos in Wellington. They even come with double tortillas like in Mexican Taquerias. The salsas are fresh and no cumin or vinegar added... They have an habanero salsa which is surreal! The decor is funky and fun...The Corona Chandelier is cool as!

          As much as I love burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas and Mexican salads, I never thought I'd be very enthusiastic about chainstore Mexican. However, since arriving in the Lambton Square complex, Max Mex has completely turned my thoughts on the above around. Quick friendly service, healthy filling food and audaciously delicious churros with warmed dark dipping chocolate makes for some very stomach and taste-bud friendly times. Topping things off, Mad Mex is licensed, and aside from beers and the like, has some pretty great margaritas going on in the mix as well.

            I work close to the Lambton Square Food Court, since they opened I have been at least twice a week. I absolutely love the chicken burrito with guacamole, nachos are really good too. Staff are always friendly and give you plenty of options. I am a fan and will be back many times.
